Blankets Distribution at Srisailam Chenchu Tribes on 21-Jan-2023. BROWS - Bharathi Ranga Organisation for Welfare of Society has distributed blankets to CHENCHUS (Children of Forest) a tribe at Srisailam Forest Reserves at Manikyamma Selepuri Hamlet, with the support of Srisailam Project ITDA Project Officer Shri Ravindra Reddy and his team. CHENCHUS a tribe at Srisailam Forest ReservesChenchus are one of the 10 tribes in India that fought extinction. Around 75% of chenchu population residing in remote & interior habitations in Nallamala hills, the temperatures during winter season will fall drastically and the chenchu families require Bed Sheets during the season. Apart from winter season, the temperatures during rainy season also extremely low in Nallamala hills. BROWS - Bharathi Ranga Organisation for Welfare of Society in support to these Tribes distributed around 400 blankets and with the help of Shri Ravindra Reddy distributed blankets on 21-Jan-2023.
