BROWS Joy of Giving - Gifts Distribution at Old Age Home Bharathi Ranga Organisation for Welfare of Society (BROWS) on 07th October 2023 along with BOA Volunteers visited The Nest Home for the Elders at Ammenpur, Miyapur, Hyderabad to make them feel cared and loved. BROWS & #BofaVolunteers celebrated JOY OF GIVING at THE NEST OLD AGE HOME and engaged the inmates with funfilled activities to bring a smile and distributed 168 Khs of Groceries (daily essentials like rice, dal, oil, atta etc). Event Started with welcome note by Mr Vasmhi, Home IN charge and who Thanked BROWS ngo and #BofaVolunteers for joining the event, post volunteers engaged elders on dumbshareds, quiz, singing activities which made the evening a memorable one for volunteers and refreshing for the elders. Elders Blessed all the volunteers who spent time, NGO thanked for distributing groceries. Volunteers conducted various fun filled activities engaging the elders. All the inmates of the home participated in various activities. BROWS believes these visits to elderly homes with increase the companionship, emotional support and the activities to overcome social isolation and boost the mood and stay engaged.
